About Anne Allgyer

My name is Anne Allgyer. I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC) in Pennsylvania. I earned my Master’s degree in counseling at Eastern University and received 12 postgraduate credits at Liberty University. I’ve always been interested in the human condition, curious about motivation, and how we can  become our  best selves. Since 2011, I’ve had the honor of working with individuals of all age groups and various issues. I love what Beth Moore said about the journey. It goes something like this: “Emotions are a lot like laundry. Sometimes we have to dump them all out before we can sort them.” I consider it a privilege to sort things out with clients and would welcome the opportunity with you.

I have experience working with individual adults, couples, children, and adolescents. I continue to seek further education in the areas I love most and that I believe are most effective for clients. I participate in regular consultation with other therapists to further sharpen my skills. In addition, I have facilitated workshops on “Getting Unstuck” and “People Pleasing”.

When I am not working, I enjoy reading, mornings at the beach (when I can get there), hiking, and inspirational music. I also love to entertain friends and family at my home.
